Research and Teaching Interests
Philosophy and history of the mathematisation of logic since the 19th century. Semiology of mathematics ; expressive means and calculability.
Formalisation of meaning ; the place of the categories of content, meaning and sense in formal knowledge ; formal approaches to natural languages.
Contemporary French philosophy, from the second half of the 20th century to the present ; history of “structuralism” and “post-structuralism”. Connections between the “continental” and the “analytic” traditions in contemporary philosophy.
Aesthetics : connections between art and sciences (mathematics in particular) in contemporary art. Formal approaches to aesthetics.
