Depuis le développement des variétés différentielles et algébriques, la notion d’espace a subi des transformations radicales, à la fois en mathématiques pures et en physique mathématique. Le but de ce workshop est de proposer une vision formelle, conceptuelle et historique de ces évolutions en s’intéressant à des notions récentes d’espace en mathématiques et en physique (difféologies, schémas, topos, champs, réseaux de spin, types d’homotopie, espaces non commutatifs, supervariétés, etc.)


Cette conférence fait partie d’un projet plus vaste d’édition d’un livre collectif sur ces sujets (cf. ici pour sa table des matières). Le workshop est conçu comme une opportunité de discuter collectivement et d’enrichir les différentes contributions au livre.
